Zion part 1:
Revelation of the nation that will make Israel envious
In the time of Moses, the children of Israel angered the Lord with their doubt and on-off love. Through Moses, The Lord said:
Deuteronomy 32:21 They made me jealous by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols.
I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.
The nation that would make Israel envious was revealed in the past age during the time of the prophets. God chose Zion, as a nation through Whom He would show Israel that having faith in God was more important than keeping of the Laws, and mercy, was better than sacrifice; It was not the sacrifices The Lord needed, it was a heart of mercy towards each other and themselves.
Although the nation of Zion was revealed during the time of the prophets, just like the Israelites, they fell into sin and God abandoned them until an appointed time. At the end of this age, at the re-unsealing of the first seal, Jesus Christ will match out as conqueror on the white horse bent on Conquest. The main event of the first seal will be to prepare the end-time church for the second coming of Jesus Christ. At that time, The nation of Zion that was chosen to make Israel envious will be revealed.
At the revelation of the nation of Zion, Creation will be liberated from its bondage and thus the physical place of Zion will be restored and given the glory of the Garden of Eden, as it is written;
Romans 8 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
This will confirm to all men that Jesus Christ is indeed Who Scripture says He is, God and Lord, Saviour and redeemer, He was at the beginning when the first man was created in Eden, and at the end of this age before the worldly system is destroyed and the Kingdom of Righteousness is established, He will still be Here, He will be at the next age and forever, for He is God and Changes not!
This article looks into how Zion was Chosen, and why Israel was abandoned even though they are still the beloved of The Lord. Note that, Israel is not forgotten but was only abandoned until the number of the gentiles has come in. At the end of this age, during the time of God’s vengeance upon the whole earth, Israel will be attacked by the armies of the anti-Christ, they will lament for Jesus Christ as one laments for an only son. They will be saved; an everlasting salvation and will be fully restored and gathered back to their land in the next age, the 1000 year millennium. Continue reading
