The nation that was chosen to make Israel envious possibly the Garden of Eden

Zion is possibly the original place of the Garden of Eden

This article follows the first article on “The nation that will make Israel Envious and bring Israel back to God”. In the first article,the rejection of Israel and the choosing of a new nation that will be used by God to bring Israel back to Him were looked into.  in this article we look into the possibility of Zion being the original place of Eden.

Mount Zion is the physical place of the redeemed that will be prepared as a sanctuary for the saints at the end of this age. The place will be restored into the Garden of Eden and in the next age, Zion will be given the ‘former’ dominion just like it was when the first man and woman lived under the shade of God. As the first seal is re-unsealed, the nation of Zion will be revealed. At the revealing of Zion as the sons of God, Zion will be restored and given the glory of Eden to confirm to all men that The Lord Who Was in the Garden of Eden is Still the same God of our age, and just like He was with the first generation, He is with this last generation.  The restoration of Zion will draw all the remaining gentile saints into the fold and thus completing the number of those who will be sealed at the end of this age.

The blessings purposed for Zion indicate a connection between Zion and the Garden of Eden. Though many have believed the Garden of Eden could have been in Israel, scripture indicates Israel is located in the center of the nations while the Garden of Eden was to the East. The location of Israel therefore confirms it could not have been the place of Eden. On the other hand, Regarding Israel it is written;
Ezekiel 5 5 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.
Scripture says,  Jerusalem will receive kingship as The Thrown of God, and when God gathers His people, he will rule over them in Zion which will receive the ‘former dominion’. That is Jerusalem will be the thrown of God, and Zion will be like Eden, the place of the redeemed where God will rule over them.

  • Mount Zion is likely to be the original place where the Garden of Eden was because:
    Mount Zion will be given the Dominion that was given to man in the Garden of Eden
    Micah 4: 6-8 6 “In that day,” declares the LORD,
    “I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.
    7 I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation.
    The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.
    8 As for you, watchtower of the flock, stronghold of Daughter Zion,
    the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to Daughter Jerusalem.
    In the Garden of Eden, The Lord ruled over His people Adam and Eve just like He will do when He gathers His people to Zion. Zion will receive the former dominion at that time, this Dominion was first given in the Garden of Eden. ‘Former dominion’ indicates, the dominion that existed in the past which possibly means, the place of Mount Zion is where the Garden of Eden was located and this Dominion is being restored to where it was first given to man as it was in the beginning or the former dominion that was in Eden is given to a new place Zion, whoever this is unlikely because
  •  God never changes His mind and His callings are irrevocable
    It is written;

Numbers 23 19 God is not human, that he should lie,
    not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
    Does he promise and not fulfill?

And. Romans 1129 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.

It is therefore unlikely that God would change His Mind about the place of the Garden of Eden. He Chose the place of His Garden for a reason and His gifts being irrevocable, it is very unlikely that He would chose a different place and give it the glory He Had purposed for Eden, especially because, Eden itself did not sin but creation was put under bondage because of the sin of Adam and Eve. This bondage on creation remain until the sons of God, Zion of the redeemed are revealed, at their revelation, creation will be restored and Zion will receive the glory of Eden.

Moreso,  Adam was burnished from  the Garden of Eden so that he could not eat of the tree of life as it is written;
Genesis 3 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Jesus Christ represents The Tree of Life that gives eternal life to those who believe. This Jesus Christ  who gives eternal life is the foundation stone of the church  who was placed in Zion

 Isaiah 28:1So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.

Jesus Christ Who represents The Tree of Life that gives eternal life is in Zion and will redeem the people of Zion unto eternal life. Just like the Tree of Life was in the center of the Garden of Eden, Jesus Christ is the center of believers. Believers who accept Jesus Christ have a hope of eternal life just like eating from the tree of Life would have led to eternal life.
It is therefore likely, Jesus Christ took His position as the Tree of Life in Zion because Zion is Eden. He will restore Zion into what it was giving the people of Zion eternal life thus restoring creation as it was meant to be the Garden of Eden.

  • Mount Zion will be given the glory of the Garden of Eden
    Isaiah 51:3 The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
    The glory of Garden of Eden is confirmed to be given to Zion before the time of wrath starts:
    Joel 2:1-5 Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill.
    Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming.
    It is close at hand 2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness.
    Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes,
    such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.
    3 Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes.
    Before them the land is like the garden of Eden,
    behind them, a desert waste nothing escapes them.

The restoration of the garden of Eden is part of the reconciliation of all things to God under Jesus Christ.  Creation will be liberated from its bondage when Zion is restored and given the glory of the garden of Eden. After the war of Armageddon, the rule over the earth will be given to man through the child of Revelation 12 who will rule in the power of Christ. The full dominion and authority  as was given to man in the garden of Eden will be restored. At that time, The Lord will make a covenant between the beasts of the field and they will all live together in peace as recorded in Isaiah 11:The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.
The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together,
    and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den,
    and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest.
They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord
    as the waters cover the sea.

The enlargement of Zion into a nation

Isaiah 54:1-31“Sing, barren woman, you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,” says the LORD.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back; lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes. 3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
Isaiah 49 16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
17 Your children hasten back, and those who laid you waste depart from you.
18 Lift up your eyes and look around; all your children gather and come to you.
As surely as I live,” declares the LORD, “you will wear them all as ornaments;
you will put them on, like a bride.19 “Though you were ruined and made desolate
and your land laid waste, now you will be too small for your people,
and those who devoured you will be far away.20 The children born during your bereavement
will yet say in your hearing, ‘This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.

Isaiah 9:1-3 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan—
2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.
3 You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy they rejoice before you
as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder.

The enlargement of the nation will be God’s doing
Isaiah 26 12 LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us. 13 LORD our God, other lords besides you have ruled over us,
but your name alone do we honor. 14 They are now dead, they live no more;
their spirits do not rise. You punished them and brought them to ruin;
you wiped out all memory of them. 15 You have enlarged the nation, LORD;
you have enlarged the nation. You have gained glory for yourself; you have extended all the borders of the land.

The enlarged Zion nation will be born in a day
Isaiah 66 8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.
9 Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the LORD.
“Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God.

Psalms 133 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.
3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

After the unity in Zion, national repentance will follow and the prayers will go forth
Isaiah 63:15-16 15 Look down from heaven and see, from your lofty throne, holy and glorious.
Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us.
16 But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us
or Israel acknowledge us; you, LORD, are our Father,
our Redeemer from of old is your name.
Isaiah 63:17-19 17 Why, LORD, do you make us wander from your ways
and harden our hearts so we do not revere you?
Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes that are your inheritance.
18 For a little while your people possessed your holy place,
but now our enemies have trampled down your sanctuary.
19 We are yours from of old; but you have not ruled over them,
they have not been called by your name.

Isaiah 51 9 Awake, awake, arm of the LORD, clothe yourself with strength!
Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old.
Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?
10 Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep,
who made a road in the depths of the sea so that the redeemed might cross over?
Psalms 85 Restore us again, God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love, LORD, and grant us your salvation.
8 I will listen to what God the LORD says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants
but let them not turn to folly. 9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land
10 Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.

Isaiah 64 1 Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down,
that the mountains would tremble before you!
2 As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil,
come down to make your name known to your enemies
and cause the nations to quake before you!
3 For when you did awesome things that we did not expect,
you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.
4 Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.
5 You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways.
But when we continued to sin against them, you were angry.
How then can we be saved? 6 All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf,
and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
7 No one calls on your name or strives to lay hold of you;
for you have hidden your face from us and have given us over to our sins.
8 Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.9 Do not be angry beyond measure, LORD;
do not remember our sins forever. Oh, look on us, we pray,
for we are all your people. 10 Your sacred cities have become a wasteland;
even Zion is a wasteland, Jerusalem a desolation.

Isaiah 33 2 LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning,
our salvation in time of distress.
5 The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness.
6 He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure

The LORD’s Answer to Zion’s prayer for restoration
Isaiah 1 26 I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning.
Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.”
27 Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.
Isaiah 54: 7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you but with deep compassion I will bring you back. 8 In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer
Hosea 2 21 “In that day I will respond,” declares the LORD—
“I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;
22 and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and the olive oil,
and they will respond to Jezreel. 23 I will plant her for myself in the land;
I will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one.’
I will say to those called ‘Not my people,’ ‘You are my people’;
and they will say, ‘You are my God.’”

Psalms 126 When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
4 Restore our fortunes, LORD, like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
.
1 Corinthians 2 9… as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

Thanks giving for the wonderful things God is doing in Zion
Psalms 65 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.
2 You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.
4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
6 who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.

8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
9 You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,
and your carts overflow with abundance.
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;
the hills are clothed with gladness.
13 The meadows are covered with flocks
and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.

In conclusion, Mount Zion the nation that was chosen to make Israel envious and to bring back the Israelites to God, is the place of the redeemed and the place where Jesus Christ was placed as the foundation stone of the church. Jesus Christ represents the tree of life that was in the Garden of Eden. The restoration of Zion into the glory of Eden and the giving of the ‘former dominion to Zion may indicate that Zion is the place where the Original Eden was. Zion will be enlarged by God into a nation. The nation Zion will be born in one day.

Ps: I know for a fact that the physical place of Zion is East Africa through personal Revelations I received. Although there are not many scriptural references that indicate East Africa is Zion, except Zephaniah 3:10, from beyond the Rivers of Ethiopia, my worshipers, my scattered people will bring me offerings.

The Lord has revealed to several people about His purposes for East Africa. And those revelations match what is spoken about Zion and prove that Zephaniah 3:10 points to the East African nations who will be enlarged through joining together to become one nation. Since personal Revelations may not be acceptable to all as evidence of the physical place of Zion, We wait and hope until these prophecies are revealed to confirm the physical place of Zion.

My believe that East Africa is Zion, and Zion being the possible place where the Garden of Eden was located may mean, the River Nile which flows from Lake Victoria and is among the longest rivers in the world  is possibly the River that separated into four headwaters  as recorded in Genesis

Note; It is written of the Garden of Eden;
Genesis 2 8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.

John 17 …Jesus … looked toward heaven and prayed:

“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
