Mount Zion’s Blessings of Restoration

The Blessings of Zion;the nation that was chosen to Make Israel envious and bring the Israelites back to God:

Isaiah 60 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Mount Zion will be given the glory of Eden, God will make righteousness and justice spring up in the sight of all nations, and all the people of Zion will be saved. Nations will serve Zion, they will rebuilt the ancient ruins and the future king through whom Jesus Christ will rule all nations will come from Zion. This article looks at the blessings God has purposed for His people, the nation He chose in the days of the prophets.

Zion refers to the church as a whole,  however it also does refer to a physical place, the place that will be prepared as a sanctuary for His redeemed at the end of age. This is so, just as the people of the church are the bride of Christ while the Physical place of the bride of Christ is Jerusalem.

Psalm 871 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
7 As they make music they will sing, “All my fountains are in you.”

Psalms 76 God is renowned in Judah; in Israel his name is great.
2 His tent is in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion.

The Lord will comfort Zion and make her deserts like Eden

Divine provision and preservation
Isaiah 61:1-41The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
Psalms 132:15, 13 15 I will bless her with abundant provisions;
her poor I will satisfy with food13For the LORD has chosen Zion;
He has desired it for His habitation.
Isaiah 62 8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm:
“Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies,
and never again will foreigners drink the new wine
for which you have toiled; 9 but those who harvest it will eat it
and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”

Zion’s  spiritual captives set free
Isaiah 61:1-41The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
Isaiah 51 14 The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon,
nor will they lack bread. 15 For I am the LORD your God,
who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar the LORD Almighty is his name.

The blessing of being the joy of all generations,
Isaiah 60 15 “Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.
Psalms 50 1 The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth
from the rising of the sun to where it sets.
2 From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth 3 Our God comes and will not be silent;
a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.
4 He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people:
5 “Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
6 And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice.
I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.
Zion’s children known among the people
Isaiah 61:8 “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.”

Psalms 87:2-7 2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are said of you, city of God: 4 “I will record Rahab and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said “This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples:
“This one was born in Zion.”7 As they make music they will sing,
“All my fountains are in you.”

The Everlasting covenant with Zion; the gift of a future king, the child of Revelation 12
Isaiah 55 3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
4 See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a ruler and commander of the peoples.
5 Surely you will summon nations you know not,
and nations you do not know will come running to you,
because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel,
for he has endowed you with splendor.”
12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn bush will grow the juniper,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD’s renown, for an everlasting sign,
that will endure forever.”
Isaiah 61 8…and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.”

 Zion, will be the city of God’s appointed festivals,
Isaiah 33:20 20 Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem,
a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up,
nor any of its ropes broken. 21 There the LORD will be our Mighty One.
It will be like a place of broad rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride them,
no mighty ship will sail them.22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver,
the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

Some of the feasts of the Lord were to be kept as a lasting ordinance through all generation. Jesus Christ also said that none of the Words of the Bible will pass away, even though the heavens and the earth will pass away. The feast have future significances besides their past significances. The Passover for example, indicates the future salvation of God’s people from a worldly kingdom to the Kingdom of God after the defeat of the oppressive government of the anti-Christ, the false prophet and the image of the beast. The Sabbath points to the 1000 year period when the saints will rest from the troubles and be sanctified by receiving a new heart and Spirit that is after the Lord God. Regarding the Sabbath, Paul wrote
Hebrews 4 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience
Furthermore two reasons prove that the festivals of the Lord will be kept before the time of wrath and in the future, in the New Earth that The Lord is creating.
1. Prophecies of the future indicate the festivals of the Lord will be kept
Isaiah 66 22As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the LORD, “so will your name and descendants endure. 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the LORD.
Zechariah 14 16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. 18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles

2. The book of Lamentation indicate Zion will keep the festivals of the Lord before the second coming
The book of Lamentations was written for Israel and Mount Zion for the time of the great persecution just before the second coming of Jesus Christ, as it is written;:

Lamentation 1:4 The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to her appointed festivals.All her gateways are desolate, her priests groan, her young women grieve, and she is in bitter anguish.

Lamentations 2 6 He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed festivals and her Sabbaths;
in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.
7 The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary.
He has given the walls of her palaces into the hands of the enemy;
they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed festival.
8 The LORD determined to tear down the wall around Daughter Zion.
He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying.
Philippians 1: 9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Joy of the Redeemed when Zion is given the splendor of Lebanon
Isaiah 35 The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
2 it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;
they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
3 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
4 say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear;
your God will come, he will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
7 The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.

 8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it. 9 No lion will be there,
nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there.
But only the redeemed will walk there,10 and those the LORD has rescued will return.
They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

These Changes will prove to all that, The Living God is The True God capable of saving and redeeming, for all others are idols and their time of destruction will come.  The people will give thought and understand that indeed, there is no other god capable of doing what The Living God can do, as He says;

Isaiah 41 21 “Present your case,” says the Lord. “Set forth your arguments,” says Jacob’s King.
22 “Tell us, you idols, what is going to happen. Tell us what the former things were,
so that we may consider them and know their final outcome.
Or declare to us the things to come, 23 tell us what the future holds,
so we may know that you are gods. Do something, whether good or bad,
so that we will be dismayed and filled with fear.
24 But you are less than nothing and your works are utterly worthless;
whoever chooses you is detestable.

28 I look but there is no one, no one among the gods to give counsel,
no one to give answer when I ask them.  29 See, they are all false!
Their deeds amount to nothing; their images are but wind and confusion.

Isaiah 41 Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.”The islands have seen it and fear; the ends of the earth tremble.
They approach and come forward; they help each other
and say to their companions, “Be strong!”

Conclusion

Isaiah 43 18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen, 21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.
26 Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence.

Psalms 132:13 For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,
14 “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.
15 I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor I will satisfy with food.
16 I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.

Joel 2: 32 And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
    there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors whom the Lord calls

Ps: I know for a fact that the physical place of Zion is East Africa through personal Revelations I received. Although there are not many scriptural references that indicate East Africa is Zion, except Zephaniah 3:10, from beyond the Rivers of Ethiopia, my worshipers, my scattered people will bring me offerings.

The Lord has revealed to several people about His purposes for East Africa. And those revelations match what is spoken about Zion and confirm that Zephaniah 3:10 points to the East African nations who will be enlarged through joining together to become one nation. Since personal Revelations may not be acceptable to all as evidence of the physical place of Zion, We wait and hope until these prophecies are revealed to confirm the physical place of Zion.
